Human Resources Specialist/Recruiter

As Cohobnb’s Human Resources Specialist/Recruiter, you will be in charge of sourcing A players and placing them in the correct position for their skill set. This position requires thinking outside the box and finding creative solutions to hiring employees. You will be responsible for designing and implementing an overall recruiting strategy, updating job ads, setting up interviews, and making sure all employment paperwork is accurate and up to date. This position requires strong attention to detail and superior communication skills. Sourcing is a huge part of this role and we need someone who truly enjoys searching for candidates and the recruiting process in general. A friendly demeanor is critical for this role.
In addition to sourcing employees, it is your job to onboard new employees by setting them up with all employment paperwork and software related to their job position. Additionally, you will introduce new employees to their specific job responsibilities and get them set up with relevant training materials. Furthermore, you will educate new employees on all company policy.

Has a friendly personality and is a self-starter
Are a problem solver and a real go-getter to find the best candidates
Considers themselves a people person and is able to assess small nuances within a person’s background
Has previous experience in recruiting or a degree in Human Resources
Additional job responsibilities include:
Assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
Communicating with recruiting firms and securing candidate leads
Social media marketing experience preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Must be willing to and desire to go to full-time status
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with sourcing applicants and using recruiting software
Hours and Pay
Hourly between $15 - 18/hour
Typical hours will be from 9 am - 6 pm two to three times per week or as needed, 15-30 hours a week.
